Hilarious! This is a "national" story I came across on Drudge Report (ok, so shoot me, I check it out sometimes).
I don't think a school year has gone by in my career where I haven't heard rumors of this type of thing happening -- this year included! Only difference is that the grade fudging I've "heard about" and/or have actually encountered was to boost freshman "on track" rates.
